Retirement

Hey,
It's Dyesha.
Over a period of time of 30 minutes I observed and recorded info on my grandmother's conversation about retirement money. My grandmother was talking to her friend at the time and she said that the government will not give her good retirement money. My grandmother has been working at two jobs for 35 years each and is upset about the money she will receive if she retirers. Her friend says" ,Give me a good retirement plan and I will be happy to retire sooner than I planed." My grandmother's friend wants to retire at 60 years old. My grandmother wants to retire at the age of 73. Personally I think that's too old to be working. My grandmother says the government doesn't want you to retire until you're 75 years old, because of the way they are giving money out to people. To me the typical age for a person to retire should be at the age of 65. What do you think?

There were two men and a woman at 24th and Utah Sts. near SF General Hospital at about 9:45p.m. Two different men walked up with guns shooting all three people. One of the men were pronounced dead at the scene. The other man,Noel Espinoza, 19 , died at General Hospital. The woman that was with them survived. The solution that was discussed about the shootings on Mission St. was that there would be increased patrols. No arrests have been made in any of the killings.

Eight is Enough

Hey,
It's Dyesha
Last week in the Democratic National Convention Obama gave an awesome speech concerning his democratic campaign on how "Eight is Enough." He started his speech with how americans struggles in their everyday life. He followed by saying that we are a better country than we have been in the last eight years, which is where the statement "Eight is Enough" came from. Obama says that McCain agrees with George W. Bush 90% of the time. Obama also says that McCain called us" The country of winers." Now why should we support a leader that think we are just winers and nothing more? Obama relates to average people and families that's why we should support him, not only in this campaign, but also for the next 4 years or possibly 8 years. Obama concludes that this campaign is not about him or even McCAin but it's about America. That's what all the elections should be about how to improve America.
Bye.

All About Me

Hey,
This is Dyesha here to tell you all about herself. I attend Phillip and Sala Burton High School and I am 16 years old. My hobbies are sleeping, eating, shopping, and watching t.v. My talents are doing hair, singing, and writing poetry. My goals for this year are to get straight A's, graduate from high school, get accepted in a great college, and get a car very soon.My greatest accomplishment is not falling into the peer pressure that other teens have fallen into like drugs, drinking, and sex. It's good to have your own mind and to be motivated to do the right thing while dealing with the pressures of life. Bye,
I'm looking forward to blogging again soon.
